Atkar North America, in partnership with IBI Group and Kenaidan Contracting, prioritized travelers' comfort and safety in the acoustic design of the new Bloomington GO Station.

For COMFORT, special attention was given to the main lobby, where passenger well-being is crucial. To achieve this, our Au.diSlat Grille, known for its exceptional acoustic properties and flexible design options, was used for the interior ceilings. IBI Group further enhanced the design by customizing it with a warm finish stain, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that helps reduce passenger anxiety and improves the overall travel experience.

In terms of SAFETY, the exterior soffits utilized our Au.diSlat Linear acoustic product. This choice ensures effective noise reduction from the travelers' point of entry to the station, contributing to a safer environment. By reducing noise pollution, station staff can facilitate emergency communication more effectively and enhance overall safety measures.

Environmental sustainability was also a core focus for the project, IBI Group's commitment to sustainability earned a prestigious LEED Gold certification, recognizing its outstanding sustainability features.
